The members of the Illinois Jurisdic tion are now carrying Insurance In the order amounting to $239,672,000. Owing to the prosperous condition of the order the assessment for April was omitted. The order In Pennsylvania has creased over 4.0U0 In membership dur- Ing the past year, bringing the total membership up to about 130,000. The noble grand should not be eon tent until he knows bow ti preside ac cording to strict parliamentary usage. At the recent session of the grand lodge of Texas a resolution was intro duced in reference to establishing an other home for aged and Indigent Odd Fellows and their wives and passed by a unanlrous vote. The reports of the snlionllnate Iodgs of Massachusetts to the grand lodge for the year ending Dec. 31. 1904, show a total membership of 54,007, a net gain of 703 for the year. Indiana Odd Fellows are working for a membership of 70,000 by the close of the year. The present membership of the Jurisdiction Is Cfl.470. Reports presented at the recent ses sion of the grand lodge of Manitoba show seventy-three lodges In the Juris diction, with a membership of 5,300. UNITED WORKMEN.
