H A movement Is on foot to start a new paper In Astoria devoted to the interest of Christian and temperance work. Not only will the churches of Astoria be asked to participate In the movement, but assistance will be asked of others In adjoining towns, when they have already expressed their will ingness. The paper will not be start ed with the Idea of making money, ot even to pay expenses, but as what 1 said to be a long-felt want on the part of the Christian people to have some me dium to express their wishes as te matters of public concern.
