CHARGE OF MURDER IS FILED
Coroner's Jury Returns Verdict,
but Is Unable t Name Men

Affray.
Monterey, Oct. 21. Excitement over
the killing of Sergeant Tooley, ot the
, Fourth cavalry, and the subsequent
? burning ot the house where the shoot
lag occurred, has subsided. The re
,;- port that other men were seriously
wounded turns out to have been un
true.
An Inquest was held today and the
coroner's Jury brought in a verdict
that Tooley came to his death by a
gunshot wound Inflicted by colored sol
diers, whose names are unknown, but
who are charged with murder.
That the negroes were armed, while
the white men were not, is explained
by the fact that, while all weapons are
aualiy kept locked in gun racks, the
cavalry gun racks were packed for
shipment east on Wednesday and the
men, being old and presumably reli
able members of their regiments, were
given their pistols to take care of.

ind you may have symptons of heart
rouble, stomach and liver trouble, and

kidneys being weak and out of order.
If you are sick Foley's Kidney
Cure will strengthen and bnlld op the
worn out tissues of the kidneys so they
will act properly and the symptons of
weakness, heart, stomach and liver
trouble will disappear and you will be
restored to perfect health.
HOW TO FIND OUT.
You can easily determine if yonr kid'
Beys are out of order by setting aside for
24 hours a bottle of the urine passed
upon arising. If upon examination it is
cloudy or milky or has a brick-dust sed

Foley's Kidney Cure is pleasant to
take and acts directly upon the parts
affected and you begin to feel better
at once.
It corrects slight disorders in a few
days and it has cured many obstinate
cases after other treatment had failed.
