Durham and Gn Han. an Meet Death In Haine Man uer In Connection With Horse Kate. New York, Sept. 24. Hardy B. Dud- ham, a well known horse owner and trainer, ha dropped dead at Sheeps head Bay race track. He had just stabled his favorite horse Dekaber after watching the animal at work on the track. A strange coincidence was con nected with the horseman's sadden ending. Last Saturday at Brighton track Dekaber won a race, beating O- , trich In a close finish. When the lat ter animal was led back to the stable at Sheepshead, the foreman, Gu Ha- nan, aaked the stable boy If he had won.
