Three Italian have been badly wounded In a battle with knives fought In a tenement court yard on Mott iitreet. Two of. the wounded men were thrust Into an am- bulance and, while the attendants were busy outside, resumed the fight, with their knives. The battle. In which a score of Italians and Sicilians were Involved, arose over the possession of a dollar bill. Tries of the fighters brought several detectives to the scene and they drove otf the mob with re volvers. Two men lay helpless on the ground and an ambulance was sum moned. The third victim was ordered taken to the police station, his wound not being serious. While peace was being restored a hubbub arose In the ambulance and the two occupants were found In a death struggle.
