This new vessel will mark the great est advance yet made In naval con struction nnd equipment. Not only in sire but In equipment :: ? (!'! size but In effectiveness, the vessel will be the mistress of the seas. It will cost aproxlrnately $7,000,000; will have a trial displacement of 16,000 tons, with 16,500 horse-power. The length of the vessel will be 430 feet, exreme breadth 76 feet 10 Inches, gross draft 26 feet 9 Inches, the foal bunker capacity 2200 tons. The main battery of the battle ship will consist of four twelve-inch, eight eight-Inch and twelve seven-inch breech-loadlng rifles, and the secondary battery will contain twelve three-inch fourteen-pounder rapid fire guns twelve three-pounder automatic guns, six one-pounder automatic guns, two one pounder semi-automatic guns, two three-inch field pieces, two machine, guns of thirty calibre. The vessel will be equipped with the latest pattern of submerged torpedo. A complete ma chine shop, operated by electric motors will be part of the equipment.
