Friday evening the queen and all those who were her attendant during the regatta were entertained by all the tent shows on Commercial street Queen Helen and Miss Frances Thomas spent Friday afternoon wit nessing the sports at the A. F. C park and after the lacrosse game Queen Helen was presented with the winning ball. Captain Cottam of the Wyoming gave a luncheon on Friday morning In honor of Miss Frances Thomas on board the battleship. Mrs. W. O. Wll klnson was the chaperon and those present besides Miss Thomas were Miss Caroline Toung, Miss Nellie Barker and MIbs Susie Stott of Portland. ' Among those who attended the recep tion given on Thursday evening by Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Wilkinson In honor of the queen of the regatta were Gen eral Clyde Fulton and staff, Admiral Campbell and staff, Captain Cottam and officers of the Wyoming and a large number of strangers as well as citi zens.
