The statement embodies the Interest payments of the city for the year. The total amount of Interest on the bonded debt Is 110,405. H. The bonded In debtedneas I slightly In excess of 1 170.000 and the bonds bear I per cent Interest. Of the total amount of the bonded Indebtedness, about IS5.000 was due to Illegally passed ordinances Thoae ordinances provided for street Improvements and the supreme court held that they were void. , The coat of the Improvements tell on to the city and In April, 1SS7, an tssue of (90,000 was made by the council to pay for the work.
