FITZ BESTS GARDINER
(Continued from First page.)
They danced around the ring fully a
minute without a blow being landed.
Gardner kept pegging away at Fltz
but the latter easily got out of harm's
way. Gardner sent In two straight
lefts to the face and a light left to the
body. Fit swung a hard right to the
jaw, sending Gardner to the floor. He
was up within two seconds.
Round -U. Gardner sent in two
straight lefts to the face and was short
with straight lefts and rights to the
body. Fitz followed this up with hard
left hooks to the Jaw and hard right

the Lowell man to the floor for five
seconds. Fltz then missed a rearrui
right swing for the jaw and dashed
Gardner against the ropes. Gardner
looked groggy. The blood was stream

into a. clinch the crowd hissed Oara-
