Lar son who died last April. The design is a most beautiful and appropriate one. It represents a tree broken off about 8 feet from the around. It's sides are covered with natural bark about which cluster ferns and vines. On a smooth ed portion of the bark Is Inscribed the name and nge of the deceased and the words: "Here Lies a Woodman of the World" TIelow this inscription appear the latin words- "Dum Tacet Cltimat." meaning "though silent, he speaks." About the inscription are carved a beetle, ax and wedge, emblematic of the order. Soon after it is erected It will, on a ore-arraneed date, ba unveiled with a beautiful ceremony. This is the second monument erected by Astoria camp to he memory of de ceased members. As Is well known, the Woodmen of the World erect a monument to the memory of each de ceased member. THE MARKETS. Surely the wonderful work of Duan's Kidney Pills right here at home is proof sufficient to satisfy any skeptic. Read the expression of a Portland man on the subject: J. Carson, employed at the Portland Lumber Co., foot of Lincoln street, and who resides at S6S First street, says: "I was feeling . miserable with a de pressing lameness around the small of my buck all last surner. At first I did not pay much attention to It but it cun tlnued to grow worse and dually be came so bad that I thought t would have to lay off work. To bend or move quickly caused severe twinges, lwus often attacked with dlwy specks ap pearing before my eyes and I had no ambition or energy. In the morning I arose as tired as when I went to bed. lu fact I had all the symptoms of a very severe case, of kidney trouble. When I was suffering the worst I read about Dean's Kidney Pills and pro cured a box. I soon noticed an lm- j provemvnt In my condition and the pain and aching across my back soon disappeared. About six weeks ago I was laid up with a siege of the grip for about two weeks. Symptoms of kidney complaint made their appearance again and I resorted to Doan's Kidney Pills a second time. They Just as thorough ly freed me of the trouble as In the for mer case. I cannot express what change they have made In me. I aim ply feel like a different person. What Do You Want?
