Prof. Clark's "Recreations In Cheriistry" formed an interesting phase of the afternoon's work. The practice experiments vital ized the subject of ventilation, while at the same-time the process of formation nf rharcoal was being Illustrated. Prof Clark is a man of deeds rather than of words ,and his demonstrations proved the value of the one over the other. Editor Jones of the Oregon Tsachers' Monthly made a plea in behalf of that Journal.
