Daughter of Tennessee Senator Found Unconscious on Street. MEMPHIS, Tenn., Deo. 5. Miss Bes sie Dismukes of Gallatin, Tenn., daughter cf State Senator W. S. Dis mukes, twice speaker of the upper house of the Tennosse legislature, was found ia an unconscious condition at the corner of Calhoun and Shelby streets last night and was taken to the city hospital. She regained consciousness and stat ed that she came to the city yesterday afternoon. On the train she says she met a young man of McKenzie, Tenn., and came up town with him. She stated she drank some wine and after ttiat she remembers nothing. The physicians at the hospital say that Miss Dismukes was druuggd. Denny, the mil lionaire brewer and director in the Suburban Street Railway company, formerly a member of the house of dele gates, who was charged with perjury in connection with the suburban bill boodle deal was found guilty this ev ening and his ou.ilshment fixed at two years In the penitentiary.
