Gentlemen: At the regular meeting of the Water Com mission, held on August 5th. 1902, your communication nnd also a copy of the resolution passed by your honorable body regarding trie-extension of the dls t ibutlon system to Smith's Point and to Alderbrook received consideration and am Instructed to Inform you that both projects are receiving the earnest attention of the Commission. With regard to the Alderbrook ex tension the commission hns already had a route surveyed from a point about three miles out on ripe Line toad Into Alderbrook with the Intention of sup plying the cast end of the city direct from the conduit, and It is now in correspondence with Mr. A. L. Adams on the aubjeet, who.
