Benson, president of the Benson
Logging Company, wos in Clatskanie
today 'to arrange for a preliminary
survey of his new logging railroad.
The road it ill extend up the Clatskanie
river and top 800 acres of fine tim
foerland. on which there is more thaa

will be put in frhe water at the Clats
kanie depot. Mr. Benaon is now se
curing the necessary riphts-of-way for

be commenced.
