Speaking of the men being left oh the barge abandoned at aea by the tug Sampson, on account of the tug having broken her hauser, a prominent citixen said yesterday that th pro ceeding wa remarkable to one who wa not in ft position to know the real fact connected with the case. After th tug bad severed her hauser, be ay the barge was anchored and left with three men aboard. Why these men, wer left at th peril of their live he could not understand.
