ernoon Liberal members of Leftists,
demanded a dissolution In order to en
able the country to pronounce judg
ment on the revision question.
Tomorrow the Socialist members of
the chamber will present a demand for
universal suffrage. This will inevitab
ly be defeated and it feared defeat
wll lead to trouble, partcularly in the

make a written demand on steamship
companies for deportation of 98 Chi
nese who have been held at detention J

threaten violence If they are not al
lowed their freedom, or taken back to
China by the steamship companies.
Several Chinamen who were detained
have already escaped. The depart
ment will prosecute companies for all
Chinese who have escaped.
