Increase for 1901
Compared with the 1900 paoic Alaska
chows an Increase In its record pack

shows a decrease of 118,172 cases com

129,400 cases in 1883.
As for the barreled salmon, it Is al
most impossible to gain anything like
a probable statement of the. output.
The arrivals for last season at San

27.S3J barels for the Coast hi 1900, of
which San Francisco received 20.2W
barrels. The FTaser river was credit

were handled at Seattle, but we have
no figures for that district for 1901,
but believe it to be very much larger.
