The steamship fing Su-y arrived this
evening 73 days from Glasgow via
Singapore. Hong Kong and Shanghai,
having come through the Sue! canal.
The fing Suey was caught In the
gale Christmas night when five
hundred miles off Cape Flattery and
roughly handled. The captain says
the storm was the worst he ever ex-
H-rienied and the gale reached the
force of a typhoon. The ship's decks
were washed from stem to stern.
