CHIPPEWA FALLS, Sept. 12 A
gang of tramps held up a Wisconsin
Central freight train at Ervine at 2
o'clock this morniryr. The trainmen
and tramps exchanged several shots.
James Ryan, a tramp, was shot through
the leg. Five of the gang were cap
