VANCOUVER, B. C, Nov. 15.-Ad-vlces
from Tokohama state that last
month Japan experienced the most se-i
vere typhoon which has visited that
country In many years.
Hundreds of houses Indifferent parts
of Japan were wrecked and several j
steamships and dorens of native craft'
foundered.
The worst casualty of all was the
blowing from a bridge a heavily laden
passenger train. 100 miles from Tokyo
Into the Hokl river. Fifty passengers
are believed lo have been drowned.
Twenty bodies have already been re
