encounter a bud storm, Is dangvrous,

to Insure the safety of the ship, though
If the voyage Is a calm one fully 90 per
cent of these should be safely landed.
Those on the 'tween deck will get a
reasonable amount of air and will be
safe In heavy weather, so probably SO
per cent of them will live to trend
African soil. But though over fifty tons
ot sawdust has been used to Insulate
the boilers, the heat of tho cattle deck
when passing throuph the tropics will
be Intense, so It Is not probable that
over a third of its occupants will sur
vive the voyage.
Next to the Oceanic of the White
Star Line the Moulesuma is the largvat

times the O. R. ft N. and it connec
tions are placing In operation a much
better grade of tourist sleeper for Pa
cini coet service than at any prevlou
