men are hard to find, and consequently
many of the seines are being operated

regarding the encroachments of th
trappers on seining grounds, especially
those located on the Oregon side of
the river. The Oregon law permits

only regulation trapmen on the Oregon
side have to comply with Is that traps
shall be driven 90. feet apart. It Is
said that even this restriction has been
violated and that traps are being driv

places along the rlv. The seiners
and glllnetters aver that they have
called the attention of Fish Commis

law without avail. On the Washington
side, trapmen are prohibited from
driving piling In navigable waters.
The law, however, while not entirely
obeyed, has been sufficient to confine
traps to the edge of the channel where

It Is not believed that the raft Is

searching for It many duys, believes
that a bunch of a dutvn logs that he

BEEINO WITH OUR FEELINGS.
A physician make the statement that
we see with our feelings. There la
more truth In this than th thought-
leas will perceive. For Instance, take
a man or woman with a weak stomach
which has not the power of giving the
hlood the nourishment It require. The
system 1 filled with poisonous bllo.
Poor blood coursing through the brain
poisons and weakens It, and the suf
ferer Is utterly Incapable of enjoying
beauty of any sort, or even a hearty
meal. The reason the bilious and the
dyspeptlo who takes Hoatotter's Stom
ach Dltters finds life brighter and
pli'iisantir. Is because It cleanses the
system and strengthens the stomach.
