The forms are for the convenience of institution ha submitting fhe ioceaa)ry evidence to establish their status as educa tional Institutions and will Indicate whether such institutions satisfac- torlly show that they have the fa cilities and equipment for furnibh- Ing a prescribed course of study that will be beneficial to the appli cants under the law. The attorney-general has defined an Institution of learning as any school or educational Institution of higher grade than the public schools provided for by statute and Includes In addition to the cstablluhed pub lic and private institutions of learn ing I ft the stato hli;h schools, busi ness colleges and such other Insti tutions of learning as have a pro scriled course of study available to the public and which can satisfac torily show that they have the prop er facilities and equipment for fur nishing a prescribed course of study that will 1)0 beneficial to the student. The members who are expected to resign are W. L. Thompson of Pendleton and R. H. Booth of Eugene. Mr. Booth sent his resignation to Governor Olcott soon after the latter assumed office, following the death of Governor Wlthycombe, but be cause of the amount of road work In progress and contemplated he was persuaded to reconsI4er hs move and remain in office. Friends say he Is now bent on resigning because of personal business requiring his attention Mr. Thompson has also let It be known ithat he expects to resign.
