They jostle you they ride roughly they don't hold the road. The $635 Overland is different. It is not only the speediest of low priced cars - But you can use the full speed of its power ful motor when you need it. Its smoothness and ease of riding at any speed would do justice to a much larger and heavier car. Come in and let us demonstrate. That's the best kind of proof. G. E. MILLNER, Dealer, 374 E. B. Hanley, of Medford, I whose wonderful campaign on behalf , of Hughes is claimed to have been ' the biggest single factor In carry-: Ing Oregon for the republican party, Is the reclpitent of honors from all j sides since the election is over. The . Evening Telegram of Portland Is ' starting a campaign to collect twen-1 ty-flve cents from all willing repub-1 Ucans to purchase Mrs. Hanley a sil- ver loving cup In recognition of her j services. Some misguided democrats in Um- : atllla county who seemingly fail to realize the fact that they may need their pigs, sent Mrs. Hanley two pigs. The Medford Sun tells as follows of their reception: Mrs. E. B. Hanley received Sun day a couple of pigs from the demo cratic county committee from Pen dleton. The pigs were labelled Wil son and Marshall. Marshall, according to Mrs. Han ley, proved to be a perfect lady, but grunted persistently for food. A pan of, rich milk was given the demo cratic poikers and Marshall proceed ed to put her feet in the dish and with true democratic ineptness spill ed the whole menu. WilBon also proved characteristic democratic proclivities. Lean and starving, the sudden-munificence of the Hanley ranch proved too much for his constitution. He couldn't stand prosperity, he overate and died. Mrs. Hanley was very much griev ed over the fatal, result, but has placed her hopes upon the surviving member of the democratic quo. K hopes for the future are realized, their will be a carload of little Marshals before another presidential election. The entire carload, said Mrs. Hanley last night, will be do nated to the republican state com mittee of Oregon in 1920.
