Crew Is Painting Hotel Oregon The massive colonnade of of tha Hotel Oregon has lent an air ot mass- Iveness to the entire building. Until now, however, the hotel has assumed a rather patchwork appearance owing?. to the cement arcade and the brlck"- work walls. Under the brushes of George Watson and his assistants tha hotel is fant taking on another ap pearance and the transformation ia amazing. The entire exterior of th hotel Is receiving a coat of cement- colored paint which will make tha entire exterior, like the Interior, ap pear new. The roof is to be painted, red. , , The annex to tho hotel is fast as suming shape. Construction is being rushed and a large force of men is at work. The walls are now up and the rafters and timbers being placed; for the partitions and floors. Whonj the annex Is completed and the colon nade of the hotel extended to the cor ner of Pioneer avenue the building will present an appearance of Im mensity and will, in fact, be one of the biggest buildings in southern Ore gon.
