To build a large and successful edi
fice there should be definite plans.
He who prepares the plans is called
the architect and is the foundation
of the success of the enterprise, for
if the plans fail the whole result
fails.
But, let the plans be never so com
plete, unless the workmen follow ex
actly the plans the failure is no less
marked.
Suppose part of the plan is put
into the bands of one workman. He
looks it over and decides that he can
change and make it some better, so
he saws his timber slightly different
from the plan.
Another part of the plan is put in
the hands of another workman. He
thinks he can make better by slightly
changing his.
And so forth through the hands of
a dozen workmen.
When the pieces are all brought
together, think you they will fit and
produce the rounded, complete edl

Not at all. The whole will fall.
In a community where every one

city jail sentence oi not exceeding ten

court, while minors under eighteen
years of age convicted of violating
any provisions of this ordinance shall
be fined not less than $2.00 nor more
than $10.00 or by a Jail sentence of

in the discretion of the court.
Section III.
This Ordinance shall take effect
and be in full force upon the expira
tion of ten days from and after its
adoption by the Common Council of
the city of Ashland and its approval
by the Mayor.
Tho foregoing Ordinance was
adopted at an adjourned regular
meeting of the Common Council of
the city of Ashland, Oregon, on the
6th day of April, 1915.
