Th-? peopl«? of this county aud Oregon are well pleased with the manner in whi-'h you aro conducting our schools.—Where I once traveled a week at a time without sixing a human habitation, now school houses are found on every hand. We want you to make the sch<x«ls .is good as they can pos sibly. be ma le, so when applicants for positions come from abroad, our children will have an equal chance in the great competition th it will in.-vit iblo take place.
