eastern and western States, aud even
from Europe, their product is iu extra;
ordinary demand, at prices more than
treble that of ordinary dried fruit. It
is too soon to determine whether the
company in Jacksonville wiil make a
profit on their operations this Fall ;
they are laboring under tho evident
disadvantage of having only one evap
orator, while much of the same labor
would work two or even three, but we
give them full credit for their enter
prise in sta ting this new and impor
taut industry.
