Main tenance work has boon done all win ter, and no holes or ruts have been al lowed, to form, aud the road Is now like pavement. The Toledo-Siletz road, which has had no more traffic than the Newport road, is full of holes and badly rutted, and, it will take thousands of dollars to put same In condition this spring.
