Whereas th8 State Fire Marshal has caused to be 'published in the Lincoln County Leader, dated October 14th, 1921, a report under date of Septem ber 1st, 1921, said report purporting to represent the actual conditions, and recommendations as to fire hazards existing in the City of Waldport, Ore gon. Wlliereas, said report as a wholo Is very misleading, and many of the statements set forth as facts in said n.;y;t iu-0 ubnolutnly falsrt, thereby daruasiug the City of Waldport, Ore gon without just cause, and placing unjust and undeserving disrepute (iip 011 our City Government and Citizens. THEREFORE be it resolved by the Council of the City of Waldport, Ore gon: 1st. That, the State Fire Marshal be censured for publishing sucli false statements, to the detriment of any section of the State of Oregon. 2nd. That we may partially repair the damage done by such statements being published, that a copy of this resolution be mailed to the Govornor of Oregon, one copy to the State Fire Marshal, end a copy be publisher in the Lincoln County Leader.
