The bureau says; High cost of gasoline on the Pacific Coast is due to result of shortage of petroleum in California. Refiners are selling gasoline as fast as they can produce it during the winter. With summer demands for tractors, trucks, i Irrigation and pleasure cars, there Is a grave possibility that the California , supply will not fill coast needs. ! Conservation of our oil supplies by: elimination ot waste, and rapid hydro electric development Is the most prac tical means of averting a shortage.
