Cator and little daughter I of Spout, Creek visited Turn Turn and menus on Monday. OBITUARY Mrs. Peter McDougall died at thn home of her daughter, Mary J. Camp-.b't Den in wis city on Friday, March 4th, 1 1921, of old age. Susan Cowen was born In Canada on; .the 20th day of September, 1831. When 8 years of age her father died. She then went to live with her sister, Mrs. James Rose. She was married on the 28th day of February, 1867 to Peter McDougall of Canada. In 1876 they moved to Santa Rosa, California. In 1888 they moved to Toledo, Oregon locating on a homestead north of town. In March, 1892, MrB. McDouxall moved back to Santa Rosa, Calif., 1lhj-llft nVn 11 I All! live with her daughter, Mary J. Camp- Deu or tins city. Nine children were born to this un ion, 4 of which are living to mourn her death. One son, W. S. McDougall of Santa Rosa; and three daughters, Mrs. R. L. James, Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. Ed. Kelso and Mary J. Campbell both of Toledo. Funeral services were held Satur day at the Bateman & Bateman Under- taking Parlors with interment in the ! Toledo cemetery. M. E. CHURCH The Epworth League had a social in the basement of the Church last Fri-' day evening. SILETZ SCHOOL During the last report month tho school room having the highest per cent of attendance was that of M1hs Junia Smith, or the Long Prairie b'.hool, having a percentage of 92.9. This week a number of the pupils are looking forward to ajid preparing numbers for the Community Club, which meets on Friday evening. The music, dialogue and papers being pre pared promise to Le especially Inter esting, as well as the parliamentary pmcuce or tne business meeting. It is planned to have an outside lecturer at the next meeting, of which special announcement will be made. Barnes was arrested here Wednesday by deputy sheriff McElwain.
