SILETZ SCHOOLS
The Community Club meeting held
in the 7th-8th. grade room on Friday,
uecenmer ira, was well attended des
pite the rainy evening, there being
the larger part of 100 persons present.
The meeting was called to order by
Pres. Ross sharply at eight o'clock.
and the first hour was taken up by the
completion or the organization, which
included tile adoption of the final draft
of the constitution, worked out largely
Dy tne committee with C. E. Larson
as chairman, the final signing of the
document by the members, and pay
ment oi dues. This was followed by
a program of an hour in length, in
cluding reports on school topics, as
the tracing of the schools at Siletz
from 1900 to 1920, by W. S. Hall, the
discussion of school grounds by Saiuia
Niemi, the needs and possibilities of
establishing of Warm Lunch in the
Siletz school, by Miss Harriett South
well, and the report of having sent
for traveling library, by Mr. Eagy. On
the program a solo was furnished by
Miss Isabel Larsen, and a thirty-minute
playlrjt by the title "That Blessed
Baby"-given by Misses Mary Henry
and Alma O'Jala. After the program
the members of the high school served
to those present, a supper of cake,
sandwiches and cocoa. It Is certain
thnt thp H'ch School students had
reason to be congratulated on the
sui v.ng of these "eats." The finest
of spirit was evidenced 'on the part
of every one thru the entire evening.
The attendance of the school has
been temporarily lowered owing to ill
ness, but Is again on the increase. The
last report month, just closed shows
the attendance record above 90,
however. Mrs. Colvin's primary room
still holds the highest percentage by
a margin.

YOUR ENGINE requires an
internal bath frequently. Road
dust, carbon from the combustion
chamber, and fine particles of metal
worn from the bearing surfaces get
into the lubricating oil in the crank
case. All this dirt circulates with
the oil through the engine. If it isn't
drained out regularly there's bound
to be excessive wear and tear.
Gasoline also escapes past the
pistons and dilutes the oil.
Modern Crankcase Cleaning Ser
vice gets rid cf the dirty, diluted oil,
flushes . the crankcase thoroughly
and refills with clean, fresh oil.
The garages listed below are now
equipped to perform this needed
service quickly and for a nominal
charge. Ve use Calol Flushing Oil,
which cleanses thoroughly without
danger of contaminating the fresh
Zeroleno refilled into the cleaned
crankcase.

ern Crankcase Cleaning Service. It ,
will result in better engine perform
ance and longer life for your car.
