Gardner, was up from Newport Monday. Johnny Peterson arrived down form Portland Fri day evening. He drove Ted Mc Elwaln's new Oakland runabout as far as Wren, but was obliged to leave It there on account of the muddy roads. John will re main here for the summer and assist in the store.
