William Keady of Waldport Is
given sentence of thirteen
months at McNeils Island.
William Keady, formerly post
master at Waklport, Or., was
sentenced to serve 13 months In
the Federal prison on McNeils
Island after he pleaded guilty to
the charge of stealing $1840.13
from money-order receipts. He
took small sums from time to
time over a period of two years
to help pay taxes on land he
purchased near Waldport, he
told Assistant United States At
torney John Bookman.
