There will be nine boys go and this will complete a total of 85 per cent of the number required from this county. Those leaving Tuesday are: Marion S. RECEPTION PLANNED Next Tuesday, October 2nd., the people of Toledo will give a reception and banquet to the boya who are leaving for the U. The two embroidery clubs which have worked separately have for the time being Joined forces and meet together ln the work of preparing kits for the soldier boys. This is a creditable and patriotic work and well de serves mentioning and the sup port of the people. The Clubs will appreciate all help towards the success of the banquet and reception next Tuesday evening. A program will bo rendered. Dr. Burgess, president of the Jocal Red Cross, wlll make an address as will also C. B. Crosno, speaking on patriotic subjects. The Toledo quartet, composed or Margie Ball, Huh Sherwood, Edna Stanton and Bert Geer, will give a number of popular vocal selections, too, during the evening.
