Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lister and son and daughter of Prineville and Mrs. Marie Poud of Green view. 111., have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. II. Martin. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis and son, Wilbur and Mr. and Mrs. I. R. Payne and dautrhter Flor ence, and Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Grant, Mrs. P. H. Martin and Clarence Davis autoed to Siletz and took in the fair, anyone missing feathers from their chickens will know these partys are preparing to give the war dance for the Big Elk fair. Mrs. Lloyd Drorbaugh and lit tle daughter, are visiting Mr. Drorbaugh's parents near Salem before going she entertained her friends with a dancing party. Miss Petrgy Thoniason came in from Philomath on Friday's .stage. We are onco more getting our webs wet and beginning to won der when it will quit raining. There is still some grain in the fields but most of the threshing has been done. being born in the order in which their names are placed, June, July and August. A very pleas ant afternoon was spent by all present. Miss Dorothy Kowetzky of Corvalli3 who is spending the week end at the home of her father and sister in Harlan, leaves for Corvallis on Tuesday's stage. Mrs. Hoover of Ketchikan, Al aska, left for her home last week after a three weeks' visit with her daughter, Mrs. M. D. Urandeberry of Peak, Ore.
