Corvaills had a good team but they were not in it for a minute last Sunday when our fast aggre gation got in action. Hyes for j Toledo had great dope on tne ball and fanned nine men against Guarte's four. Hayes never passed a man on balls, but Guarte made up by walking six. Houser played his usual brilliant game and Ross also played a pretty, fast game, for a big u;an. A number of errors were mads cn both sides, but ihe game was neither won nor lost on errors. We were just naturally too big for them. Carl Davis did the umpire stunt. Here we have them : Corvallis Toledo Bier 2b Gwynn-Leggett Girrard 3b Casey Phillips c Houser Guarte p Hayes Figly rf Sanford-Kackley Musgrave ss Ross Tripp If Carson Dil'ey lb ; Cook Farmer cf Plank - BASEBALL. Next Sunday there wiil be an other one of those fast baseball games for wh'ch Toledo diamond is becoming famed. Ihe crack Jef ferson team will play the local team and while Jefferson is classed among the fast teams, they will have their hands full when they tackle our team. Don't miss it. Toledo's lineup will be about the same as last Sunday's game. LAUNCH TRANSIT.
