The Lincoln County Fair Associa
tion will meet in the city hall in To
ledo on Tuesday, July 25, at 8
o'clock p m. for the purpose of per
manently organizing, adopting by
laws and electing officers.
The time as set for the coming
Fair is very near and we must get
busy if we keep up our reputations.
Let everyone come and help make
the coining Fair the best ever held

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION
IN THE CITY OF TOLEDO.
To the Legal Voters of the city of
Toledo:
Notice is hereby given that on
Monday, the 31st day of July, A. D.
J 911, a special election of the legal
voters of the City of Toledo will be
held commencing at 8 o'clock in the
forenoon of said day,. The polling
place at which said election will be
held is in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall in said city.
At said election there will be sub
mitted to the legal voters of said
city for their approval or rejection
an ac supplementary to the charter
of said city, the ballot title of which
is as follows:
REFERRED TO THE PEOPLE BY
THE COMMON COUNCIL
AN ACT
empowering the City of Toledo to
purchase the waterworks of The To
ledo Water and Electric Light Com
pany at the price of Six Thousand
Dollars and to issue bonds in pay
ment thereof, to extend, improve and
operate said waterworks and to ex
ercise the right of eminent domain
therein; re-enacting the charter
amendment approved by the, voters
of said city at the election held
therein October tenth, 1910, author
izing said city to acquire and operate
its municipal waterworks and issue
bonds therefor; and ratifying all
acts done under authority thereof."
