The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least
one dreaded disease that science has
been able to cure iti all its stages, and
that is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure
is the only positive cure now known to
the medical fraternity. Catarrh being
a constitutional disease, requires a con
slitutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh
Cure is taken internally, acting directly
upon the blood and mucous surfaces of
the system, thereby destroying the
foundation of the disease, and giving
the patient strength by building up the
constitution and assisting nature in do
ing its work. The proprietors have so
much faith in its curative powers that
they offer One Hundred Dollars foi auv
case that it fails to cure. Seud for list
of testimonials.

Mr. Bcehtel, a Salem real estate

farms in the Valley are being held
so high that people are beginning to
look elsewhere for cheaper land and
that he expects to see Lincoln county
settled up very rapidly during the
next few years. Lincoln county is
certainly the place for the man with
small capital and lots of energy.

City Election.
The Special City Election passed
off quietly last Monday and a med
ium large vote was polled. Out of
140 voters in the city 82 votes were
cast. The amendment and supple
ment to the city charter, allowing
the city to bond itself in the sum of
twenty thousand dollars for the pur
pose of constructing waterworks,
etc., came near carrying unanimous
ly, there being but one dissenting
vote. The measure changing tne
qualifications necessary for a person
to hold office in Toledo did not
prove so popular, there being six
votes against it, which looks kind of
suspicious in itself (?).
