been repaired and I will preach

at 7:30 p. m. Everybody come.

The two-year old child of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Sijota living near
Kernville swallowed a three inch hat
pin. Last Saturday they took the
baby to Newport and the pin was
removed without injury to the child.

on the barge for the pile driver and
are now building a cabin, They ex
pect to soon have the pile driver in
operation. The boiler and engine
have also been installed in there
steamer, Truant.
At a call meeting of the City
Council last evening the resignation
of City Marshal Chas. Bradescn was
accepted and Ted McElwain appoint
ed to fill his place. Judges and
Clerks to officiate at the annual city
election to be held the first Monday
in December were also selected.
