Tho district has purchased the Carter property on the high ground. This will make a sightly building place. Elk City saw mill runs at full capacity and finds market for all tho lumber they can cut. Tho Storrs school district, below us have a new school building. Miss Clara Tassel 1, a former resi dent of Elk City, is teaching their, school .' Col. Parker is offering his place for sale. The brush is growing on once improved land faster than he cuts it. Lincoln county is no place for idle land. Apple crop in this vicinity is not large but the fruit is of fine quality this season. C. L. Knapp and family have moved to Sodaville. Mr. Knapp will teach' the Sodaville school. (Continued to page 4)
