Toledo kicked off to Yaquina, Cronise returning the punt, and Yaquina getting possession of tin; ball on Toledo's 10 yard line. By heavy line smashes through left guard and tackle, Emmerick, was sent over the line for a touch down in the first two minutes of play. Cronise kicked goal. Cronise made a successful attempt at a drop kick for goal from Toledo's 30 yard line, making the score 10-0 at the end of the first half. During the last half neither side scored, most of the playing being in the center of the field. Cronise and Emmerick played the game for Yapuina, Cronise punting and tackling and Emmer lick'a carrying the bail being features of the game. For Toledo Goodell at full back and Weber at left half played good football. Toledo's lack of team work and weak interference were responsible for their being unable to score Considering the fact that this was their first game and that they bad never been together to practice, it is regarded that the boys made a good showing.
