evening from Falls City, where she has
been visiting with her daughter for a
couple of weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Farrin came in
Saturday evening from Sumner, Oregon
and after a few days visit in Toledo
went on toTaft where they will reside
this summer,

ination for the United States Senator
on the republican ticket, will address
the citizens of Toledo and vicinity, at
the Courthouse, Monday night, March
16.
Wednesday morning the back trucks
on the crab-wagon jumpd the track
about a half mile above town, but no
damage was done besides being slightly
delayed and the tearing up of a few
ties.
Mr. and Mrs. N. H. Sherwood and
daughter Ilah came over from Albany
yesterday evening, after' a two weeks'
visit with Mrs. Sherwood's Darents. Mr
and Mrs. W.B. Hayden, they will move
onto their homestead over in the Siletz.
