Nortons Notes.
After teaching three months, our
teacher has gone to spend her vacation
at her home iu Polk county. School
will re-open January 2.
The Nortons Christmas tree was a
success. The crowd was large and the
program very fair. The Summit Band
of fourteen pieces added greatly to the
enjoyment. The leader, R. R. Miller,
is the teacher of the Summit school.
Anions; the members are, June Edwards
of Nortons, Willie Wakefield, Ernest
Derrick and D. Shirley of Eddyville,
and I. S. Pruner and Bruce Hamar of
Nashville.
Nearly every family at Nortons has
guests for the holidays.
