In the matter of the subscription list
of The Lincoln County Leader. The
Court having examined the list and
being satisfied that The Leader has the
largest circulation of any paper in the
county, it is hereby declared the official
paper of the County Court.
In the matter of levying a tax for
School District No. 14 to apply to
bonded interest or sinking fund of said
district. Whereas, School District No.
14 of Lincoln county, Oregon, has cre
ated a bonded indebtedness in the sum
or foOO, aud whereas, suid school dis
trict has failed or refused to levy the
necessary sum to pay the interest due
thereon for the year 1904, as by law
provided, in the sum of 830, as shown
by the certificate of the County Treas
urer of said county, and whereas, it is
necessary that a tax levy on the taxable
property situated in said school district
should he made ut a sufficient rate to
raise the above-named amount of inter
est on said bonds, now therefore, be it.
ordered by tho Court that a tax of 3
mills for tiie purpose of paying the int
erest duo ou said bonds for the year
11104 be and the same is hereby levied
upon all taxable property, both real
and personal, situated in said sefiool
district No. 14, ns by law provided.

The Court, acting on numerous' peti
tions from taxpayers and helioviug that
it will be for tho beat interest of the
county to niako and maintain hii ex
hibit ut the Lewis and Clark Fair at
Portland, Oregon, from June 1 to Octo
ber 1, 1005, und believing that the peo
ple mid taxpayers oi Hie county are in
accord with the matter, and having tho
promise of a rebal of $500 from the
! Fair Association on condition of the
Yaquina county's appropriating $1000, it is

sage Sunday announcing tho death of
his mother at her home in MuMinnville.
