Young Teddy Roosevelt has just
finished whipping pneumonia to a
standstill, although it was a hard
fight. He is surely a son of his pa.
Oregon's exhibit is exciting the
wonder of visitors to the Charles
town exposition. Many of them
will be out here in 1905 to see it
all.
Politics will soon be ripe in Or
egon and the great exposition
booked for Portland in 1905 will
please go away back and sit down
until again called to the front.
Col. Williani J. Bryan has been
consulting other democratic leaders
regarding plans for the next cam
paign in Ohio. P.S You are sup
posed to laugh when you read the
above bit of news.

yet voted vto abolish the United
States senate. The several states
might get rid of the evil by simply
neglecting to elect United States
senators. If the people are really
in earnest the trick can be done.

und have a good time. Did any of
the nations of the world ever send
representatives to this country at
the inauguration of a President of
the Uuited States? Guess not.
An inauguration of our p:esidtnt
means more to people of the world
than the coronation of all the
crowned heads in the world. We
