cessful bidder at the recent sale of
L,akeview waterworks bonds. Com
petitors were I). M. Parron, of Chi
cago; Hayes & Sou, of Cleveland;
Morris & Whitehead, of Portland,
and the Bank of Ashland. Mr.
Daly it will be remembered, was
Hon. Thomas Tongue's opponent
in the congressional race in June,
and the Lakcview fire, which oc
curred during the campaign, left
him without earthly possession
