according to entomologists of tho de
partment. The caterpillars of tho brown tall
moth spin webs lu tho fall which
remain on the tips of tho twigs and
branches during tho winter. Thoso
webs should bo cut nud burned so thnt
Injury will not bo caused by tho cater
pillars tho following summer. Par
ticular attention should be given to
webs of this Insect on trees which
grow round dwellings or In orchards.
