Germany resulted In a $50 fine
being Imposed on a horseflesh deal
er at Hull this week. The defend

butcher in Rotterdam for six years.

ho was fined. The butcher testified

Total prohibition has been reject

to enforce, nnd detrimental to real
temperance. Rut it Is felt that tho
sale of strong liquors should bo

less than thrco per cent of alcohol

but a beneficial drink. Light wines
